Thank You
A massive thank you to the friends, family, and coworkers who made this trip possible. You took us in, fed us, provided refuge while ill, covered our work, offered guidance through health struggles, traveled to see us, read our rambling blogs, and generally gave us a strong sense of community while on the road. The theme of this trip was turning lemons into lemonade, and as you can see, there were cups pitchers buckets tankers oceans of lemonade this past year. I’d say it was a privilege, but that doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Looking forward to the future, Kathleen and I have settled down in Boulder Colorado. We’ve rented a small mining cottage right at the base of the Flatirons, next to great mountain biking trails and at the gateway to the Rockies. While returning to work undoubtedly means less time for exploration, we will continue to use that precious time to the best of our abilities. Friends, our door is always open, and we’d love to take you camping.
